Call me crazy or call me a lover, but I did indeed wait in the wee hours to get my hands on these goodies. Was it worth it? YES. Whether you're trying to flip it on eBay like a crook or just want to be a part of the #HMBALMAINATION crew - the pieces were worth the hype (and I'm really not one to hop on the bandwagon). Since I'm no big shot blogger (give me some time, I'll get there), the pre-sale event was not a choice. Like a mere plebeian, I woke up at 3am to line up & made some new, interesting friends whilst sitting on the cold tiles of Fig&7th in DTLA. We passed the time with rounds of beer and  Never Have I Ever. The beaded jacket that I wanted sold out  instantly as expected, but check out the dress I did manage to snatch like a rabid bitch. What have we, collectively as a society, come to? No shame here, though.

I can't say I'm not satisfied with my purchases - I got this bold shoulder dress and it kind of takes me back to the 80s. Instinctively the only shoes that was fitting were these rad over the knee boots. The only other item I was able to get was the high neck green silk top --more on that later.
