This hue of blue I'd like to call Midnight Blue is so majestic and regal it makes me want to put on a fake British accent and retire to my velvet drawing room, Earl Grey in hand. Not to be mistaken for Royal Blue, this pantone is richer. Colder months mean resorting to more muted palettes (believe me, I know it's hard not to since everything is more chic unsaturated), but where's the fun in that? This shade of deep blue is perfect for when you don't want to play it safe with the conventional black coat, black boots, black sweater and you're insanely bored. What's even better, I find it really easy to match my other winter staples with this color. But who's matching nowadays anyways?
