September and October is like an awkward transitional period, comparable to one's prepubescent years with or without braces. Transitional Fall styles are all about playing around with what you already have, but layering it so that you have completely different looks. Grab a few items that can be reworked and get creative. The clean lines and minimal look of a blazer is what I love most about this look. I was eyeing this gorgeous tuxedo dress by Stone Cold Fox that somehow showed up on almost all my Facebook display ads (how do these Google geniuses know I would like this dress!!), as I was about to purchase it - I saw this black light silk blazer in the back of my closet. And Voila. The same look, buttoned up.
