60s Romper | Staying Motivated

When this romper caught my eye, I was immediately inspired by the mid-60s, Twiggy era.

Romper: C/meo Collective / Shoes: Christian Louboutin / Shades: Komono

I love a minimalist look any day, and it's a plus when it's nicely structured enough to still make you look sexy. I had to pair it with these gorgeous red, hot Louboutins that I got for my birthday this year from my two best friends. We have this tradition where every year, we would pitch in money to buy each other designer shoes. Love them to death.

This post is dedicated to all my ladies and men out there who work from home and keep themselves motivated on the daily. But how does someone who runs their own agenda and business from home keep themselves involved and hungry? I want to share with you a few tips that have worked for me personally. No lie, it's tough to keep a tunnel vision during work hours and distance yourself from distraction. But it's a must when you want to keep at a pace faster than people who are working a regular 9-5.

  1. Start your day with a strong motivation quote - this gets your blood running and that drive on key.
  2. Plan your next day before bedtime. This levels the stress and gets you at it the moment you wake up.
  3. Research your industry every single day. Never be complacent, no matter how knowledgeable you are in your field. There's always more to learn.
  4. Network with like minded individuals, you never know how they may contribute to your success.
  5. Know the hours in which you are most productive! I am a night owl, whoo whooo
  6. Watch motivating speeches on Youtube. Mark Cuban videos are my jam, because the guy always keeps it real. He actually gives you some tangible strategies on how to make it as a self starter. No bullshit. OR TedTalks are great too.
  7. A clear mind is a result of a healthy body and mind, as well. Never neglect your body. Always make time to work out and stay active. It actually is a driving force for positivity.
  8. Have monthly goals. Always track your progress, so you have a legit indicator on how much harder you need to work, or when to give yourself some down time :)
  9. Stay hungry by seeking room for improvement in any project you do!

I hope these concrete methods help you in your drive for success! Work hard and give it your all in anything that you do! You guys keep me motivated, and I shall do the same for all of you! Comment below and let me know what strategies & tips have worked for you. I would love to hear from you guys, as well!

Thanks again for reading UB. I love you all so hard! Have a fabulous weekend! xo
