Again, we ventured out to the cutest boulevard in Venice Beach, Abbot Kinney. My first post moving to LA was taken here, and its vibrancy still amazes me. Something about the sharp dressed hipsters, artists, and shoppers against clear blue skies - that je ne sais quoi factor! So as you can see, my outfit deeply contrasted the vibe in Abbot Kinney, a street lined with beautiful pastel palettes. Ya'll know it's hard for me to shake off my all black -- but look, there's some grey! That's a color right? These super comfy Zara boots are still my favorite casual booties (I wear them to work, when I'm twerking, and even sprinted away from a lurking druggie in a dark DTLA alley once in them.) Since it was cold out that day (a dwindling 70 degrees! Like brrr, right?), I switched it up with this weightless cashmere turtleneck. My current obsession with skin-tight turtlenecks came at the realization that it adds this other level of chicness to any outfit, perhaps we can actually learn something from the French after all!
