Kickin' It at The Park

First things first, I wanted to bring awareness to the tragic disaster in Oklahoma City --my sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to all the families and those around the area. Here are some (among the many) ways we can help/donate, please check them out:

I thought I'd do a quick post before my flight to Vegas in a few hours. My friend, Winnie, and I are going for a much overdue vacation and checking out what the Las Vegas Fashion Week scene has to offer. Oh yeah, and the night life and pool parties. Expect my next post to be very nightlife-themed... (I guess what happens in Vegas won't exactly stay in Vegas for me). Before I get all fancy schmancy for the occasion, I wanted to bring you a look I've been obsessed with the last few seasons ... sporty chic. Thanks to Mr.Alexander Wang who has perfected this look, I have blurred the line between my work out attire and my everyday wear. Absolutely loving this shade of neon for summer. Instead of getting these faux leather running shorts in black (which is available at Aritzia), I decided to go for something more fun and out there!

Last but not least, if you haven't  seen JJ Abram's Star Trek Into Darkness, I suggest you get your ass up, get a date, and watch that shit! Aside from the amazing cinematography, the costume design done by Michael Kaplan is IMMACULATE. So sleek, avant garde, minimalistic, and so very badass. The cut and silhouette don't stray too far away from our time, which gives the design its believability. The leather. The high necklines. The body con uniforms. The inner dork in me would totally wear some of these pieces right now.
