| Okay, so I know I have been posting a lot of collages, but that's going to change soon once I get my DSLR action on. My outfit posts coming up soon, so stay tuned! Today, I wanted to share with you all my love for this designer whom I've recently stumbled upon! Rie Yamagata started designing for the likes of Phillip Lim, and Tsumori Chiatso, and boy has she ventured out to compose her own unique look and brand --Rhié. I love the whole Japanese minimalistic designs and how she keeps it simple by playing with creative materials (essentially constructing various textures and shine in her collection). "I've always been inspired by menswear because it has certain integrity of design that considers cut, construction, and fabric above all," Rie explains in a recent interview. What I also appreciate about her line is how tailored everything is while still able to maintain that sense of femininity. What you see in the collage is some of my favorite looks.
